Meeting night again

silver_chipmunkThe day started with a staff meeting at work, with some of the higher ups from the safety office, to tell us what to do in case of emergencies. Kind of interesting.
Then later in the day we had a visit from a VIP higher up, and I am pleased to report that he was complimentary about our appearance, and particularly mentioned some things that are mainly something I do. So...BROWNIE POINTS!
Got e-mail from Cousin Laurie about the cottage, she was actually friendly and nice. Nothing of importance was said though.
After work I went to Rite Aid and got cereal and light bulbs. My hall light blew out. Then I called the FWiB, and went to Boston Market for dinner.
After dinner I went to my meeting, which was very good.
Now I am texting The Kid about Sunday, when she will be in the city getting her hair done, and I am trying to work things out to see her. It will mean moving the turtle's vet appointment up an hour or so, so it depends onmashfanficchick's mother.
Fed the turtle more spinach tonight and again she scarfed it down.

Edited to add: Got return e-mail from the management company about the exterminator. They said the exterminator would call me to set up a special appointment. He hasn't called.
