Electricians

silver_chipmunkThey came, they opened up my walls, they disarrayed my kitchen, they turned off my power for two hours, but they got done. They will return Friday to plaster, paint and reinstall two outlets in the kitchen. Poor Oreo had to spend the whole day in the bathroom, though I don't think he minded onnce he heard the electricians in the kitchen.
Aside from that nothing except I got an e-mail from Betsy about calling the plumber for the cottage because supposedly the water heater smells bad. Then she e-mailed back and said not to because Aunt Helen was going to ask Thom if he knew anyone who know how to treat the heater with hydrogen peroxide. Which is actually not that hard to do, I looked it up online. Oh well.
Anyway, that was my day. Oh, and I did Skype with the FWiB after the electricians left.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The electricians got done and don't need to come back tomorrow.
3. Oreo is fine after his ordeal.
4. I'm going to have ice cream after I write this.
5. The walls will be fixed.
6. Air conditioning.
