Another vacation day

Didn't do a whole lot during the day. I called a new cleaner and made an appointment to get the apartment cleaned again. This place is cheaper. We'll see how it goes. Also I cleaned out one shelf of my kitchen cabinets. It's a start. This was all because The Kid called last night because her last tropical fish, that she'd had for several years, since before they moved, died yesterday. And she was pretty upset, but somehow the conversation morphed into my getting a cleaner in again, and cleaning my cabinets.

Anyway, aside from that I Skyped to the FWiB, which was nice.

Then in the evening mashfanficchick and her mother picked me up and we went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner, and then to theor friend Danny's place, Five Pennies, for ice cream. After that we went back to her place and I got my stuff that was in her suitcase, my Vernors and the linens from the cottage which need to get washed and returned.

And that's about it.
