Sonic Portraits

That was the name of the program I had today, and it worked out very well, I got eight kids in and that was exactly the right number. It was a lot of fun, they used iPads to create musical tones from drawn shapes. So that was good.

Aside from that, after work I called the FWiB, and we talked on the way home. He was too tired to go on Skype though, and I was expecting to be picked up by mashfanficchick and her mother anyway, so calling was all we did.

Then they picked me up and we went and had Carvel, and then after that to Friday's where i splurged ad got their lemon and garlic shrimp pasta, which was delicious.

My old friend Lynn T (not Lynn S, the one in Rochester) was snotty to me on facebook again. Why I don't just defriend her, or at least unfollow her I do not know. It's pretty depressing.

But aside from that the day was really pretty good, so that's something. And the mushrooms I've been mentioning are still there, I'm really surprised but pleased no one's destroyed them.

I once saw a very large reddish-orange one with white dots on it! Looked like a home for a fairy! I wish I'd gotten a chance to take a picture before some jerk kicked it over! 😢

P.S. What is FWiB? Is it like FWB, "friend with benefits"? LOL sorry to be awkward.

FWiB does indeed stand for Friend With Benefits. Long story much shortened, he's a very long term dear friend who, after my now ex husband left me, became my part time lover for several years. However, he's married, though his wife knows and accepted our relationship for various reasons. It's complicated. He's now living in a nursing home several states away (Ohio), and we communicate by phone, e-mail and Skype. I went to see him a couple of months ago.

The mushrooms are four very large white ones I saw on someone's, not actually yard, but the area between the sidewalk and the street. I was sure someone would have kicked them over, but the last I saw no one had. It's a pity you didn't get a chance to take a picture of the one you described.
