Happy Indigenous People Day

silver_chipmunkSo as I said in my edit to my journal last ight, I went out with mashfanficchick, her mother, and her friend MJ last night to Uno. We had a good time, and didn't get home to very late.
Even so, I slept late today; why not, it's a holiday. So after I got up, breakfasted, puttered on line and read some, I Skyped the FWiB. We talked awhile, then he had to go to dinner so i went and continued reading Adulthood Rites. Then after he finished dinner, we Skyped again. But again, not for long. He has some malware infection on his iPad that was giving him trouble. He's going to try and get it taken care of tomorrow.
I got a phone call from Lu R, the anniversary party is cancelled, and for a pretty depressing reason, Eva, that's the one I had stay with me for awhile some years ago, has been discovered to have a large tumor on her ovary. She has surgery scheduled two days before the party was to be, so they are cancelling it. I texted Lu Aunt Helen's phone number so she could call her.
After that I went down and picked up my laundry, so I have clean clothing for tomorrow. Then I had dinner, and after dinner I puttered on line some more, and then reaad until it was time to call Oldest Brother.
And now I've fed the cats and the turtle, and will go to bed shortly. Maybe read a bit more, maybe not.
Back to work tomorrow.
