New Obsession

silver_chipmunkWell, I wouldn't call it exactly an obsession yet... but I spent most of the day binge watching Daredevil on Netflix. I watched five episodes, and I guess I'm kind of hooked. The Kid wanted me to watch it, so I started it, and it is good.
Actually the day started with getting up and going to my Saturday meeting, for the first time in a long time. It was very good. After that, on the way home I stopped at Rite Aide to fill my scrips, and to get some toilet paper.
Then came home and settled in to watch. It's more violent than I expected, but but not stupidly so. There's a story arc, not a "criminal of the week" format.
I also found time to clean the turtle filter, and to Skype with the FWiB.
And I had the bedroom door open all day and nthing horrific happened with the cats, so I am tentatively optimistic.
Tomorrow over tomashfanficchick's to do Halloween related things.
I feel the necessity to say something about the Squirrel Hill Synagogue shootings today. Horrific. Nothing more than that, there are no adequate words.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. New show to watch.
3. The kid.
4. Cats mostly ignoring each other.
5. My meetings and the people there.
6. The nor'easter wasn't as bad as expected, at least not around here.
