Cleaners came

silver_chipmunkI blew off my Saturday meeting and instead prepped the apartment for the cleaners I made the appointment with yesterday. They were late, but I was watching The Defenders (I finished season 2 of Daredevil last night after I posted here) so that was OK. They contacted me and said they'd be here at about 1:30, but apparently they went to the wrong street and obviously couldn't find me, that's what I got from the boss. I told him/her that it was Road, not Avenue, and they got here about 2:30.
They did a Really Good Job. I am thrilled, and I may use this company again. They cleaned the interior of my refrigerator (though not the freezer) and the inside of the microwave! And they were fairly cheap too.
So after they left I Skyped with the FWiB, and that was good, and I got a call from the Kid (who I had texted earlier.) I was really impressed to hear from the Kid, she and the SIL are at a wedding, and she took time out for a call.
I also textedmashfanficchick, and may be going to see her tomorrow.
After I finish posting here I am going to watch more of The Defenders, because we have an extra hour sleep tonight.
Oh, one sad thing, I heard from Oldest Brother that Carlyle-on-the-Green, where we've had a wonderful Thanksgiving the last few years, isn't doing Thanksgiving this year. So we're going to have to find somewhere else.
