Back to work
Nov. 13th, 2018 10:40 pmOur new children's person had to take off today, which should have been her first day with us, but her son is in the hospital with pneumonia. So we were a bit short staffed, but not badly.
I did the laptop program for the teens, but disappointingly got only two.
The Kid called, her insurance company reversed something she was told and now she owes money. She's not happy. This is for when she got bit by the stray cat and had to get rabies shots. You would think this should all be totally covered because of the importance. You would be wrong. Feh.
After work I called the FWiB, and we had a nice talk. He has chemo tomorrow.
Then had my meeting. It went well. Next week is our group anniversary. Hope it goes well.
It looks like there is a possibility I will be able to get to Vermont to see Cousin Steve and family after Thanksgiving. Keeping my fingers crossed...
Gratitude List:
1. Family.
2. The FWiB.
3. My meetings and the people there.
4. My cats.
5. Rained in the morning, then cleared up.
6. Reading in bed.
