Didja' miss me? I'm back from my weekend in Vermont, and I had a WONDERFUL time. The train trip up went fine, with no problems at all, it got in actually a little early (about 6 minutes). John and Steve met me at the station, and we went back to Steve and Amy's place and it was very nice. Everyone was lovely, and we had a great time. Stayed up too late each night, got up early each morning.

Watched a very funny comic on TV the first night, then went to bed sharing a room with Brianne. In the morning I got up and socialized with Steve and Brianne until Amy got up and made breakfast. Steve drove John, Denise, Brianne and me to a town called Woodstock (no, not the famous one in New York!) where we walked around and looked at stores, and bought hot drinks.

Got back and Amy was making dinner, with Thanksgiving leftovers, turkey cacciatore, with veggies, and fixings. All was delicious. Then we worked on a jigsaw puzzle and talked. Had a great time.

Today Amy made breakfast again, we continued working on the puzzle, and finally had to go home. Brianne drove and Aunt Helen of course sat in the passanger seat so John, Denise, and I had to share the back seat but it wasn't too bad. We stopped for lunch at the Vermont Deli, where I got bacon mac and cheese which was delicious, and we stopped at a Starbucks in Connecticut for the restroom and coffee. They delivered me home, and I Skyped the FWiB.

Steve and Amy have a deightful new dog, a 7 month old lab named Penelope, just like the cat we used to have when we were kids.

Anyway, that was my weekend, and I had a great time.
