Nothing spectacular. Work was OK, I did the Teen Lounge, got 7 kids, which is good.

After work, I called the FWiB, and talked to 20th ave, where I met mashfanficchick and her mom. We went to Carvel and then to BJs where I got yogurt, orange juice, and brie.

Then we took the stuff back to my place and put it away, and then went to Uno, where I got the $9.99 lobster roll special. Today is the last day for it.

And that's pretty much it.

Last night at some point during the night Oreo got into the bedroom. There was hissing and growling from Sybil, but then it stopped and I assumed Oreo had left the room, and I fell back asleep. This morning when I woke up Sybil was being very snuggly, but not unduly so. But when I got up and walked to the door, Oreo ran past me out of the room. He had been on the bed, presumably all night, and Sybil too. A milestone.

7 kids is great for teen lounge! Is teen lounge like study hall? We have a weekly study hall where we set up a special room and play music (and give them snacks) and we've been averaging like 4-6 kids. We have two problems: 1. even the kids I see every day can't seem to remember that we have study hall every week without me telling them, and 2. they don't want to leave our teen area with the comfy chairs so it's a constant plea of "please come to study hall, I will give you food."

The Teen Lounge is basically putting together a number of different activities (Wii gaming, board gaming, LEGOs, and coloring) in the Community Room (if you didn't guess, I'm in a public library, not a school) and seeing who comes in. In the past I had snacks, but they just came, ate the candy, and left, and it got difficult to manage. And expensive. So yeah, I'm happy with 7, for certain.
