We had an Incident today at work

Two members of the public had an encounter of the more disagreeable kind, resulting in yelling, accusations of racism, and the police being called for something ridiculously minor. Thankfully it had nothing to do with me and I was only involved in the most minor periphery. But it cast a pall over an otherwise rather good day.

After work I called the FWiB, but we only talked for awhile because he had to Skype his brother. Then I did some shopping at Rite Aid, and got a call from mashfanficchick asking me to dinner tonight which I couldn't do because I was in the Bronx going to my meeting. They understandably didn't want to wait til 9:00 for dinner.

I went to dinner at Boston Market, and then to my meeting. The meeting was bigger than usual, and next week we are going to have a potluck dinner.

Came home and discussed plans with Oldest Brother for decorating my tree tomorrow. That should be fun. Unfortunately mashfanficchick can't join us, nor can the Kid, but we'll have fun anyway.
