Happy Hanukkah

silver_chipmunkSlept late, then got up and breakfasted. Spent the morning doing some on-line Christmas shopping, got three presents ordered, which is a bit off my mind.
Then I showered and washed my hair. And after I got dressed I Skyped with the FWiB, but only for a bit becausemashfanficchick and her mother and Theo came and picked me up for the PJ Library Hanukkah party. It was fun in a restrained sort of way, it was of course geared towards the preschool age group, but there was food and I won a raffle (a Patricia Polacco book) which I think will end up with Theo and Winnie. Theo was not on his best behavior, which made things difficult.
After the party we went to Denny's to eat, and Theo continued to act up, so I don't know what's up with that.
Anyway, they brought me home, and I flaked out for about an hour or so.
Some disturbing news from Oldest Brother, although they told him on Friday he was approved for the loan, he got a letter that arrived yesterday that said he was turned down. The letter must have been sent before he was told he was approved, so I'm thinking that maybe when he turned in his pay stubs Friday that changed things, but who knows. He's going tomorrow to find out. So I may have to co-sign after all.
So that's about all the news.
