I took it easy today because I'm still getting over the cold, albeit much, much better.

I slept latish, got up around 10ish and Skyped the FWiB early because he was going out to spend the day at the track practicing his walking.

After that I threw some clothes on and went out to the bagel shop on the corner for breakfast. Or brunch or whatever. They aren't the greatest bagels I've ever had, but not the worst either.

After that I puttered around, did a little bit of setting the apartment to rights from Christmas, which I haven't done because of being sick. I hung my calendars, only two this year and one of them I bought myself. I may shop around for another one.

Took a nap for awhile. And after I woke up, the Kid called. So that was nice, we had a nice conversation.

Then I showered and dressed in more respectable clothes and went out to my meeting. Had dinner first at Boston Market, the first time in weeks!

Turned out no one but me could stay for the second meeting, so we ended at 8 instead of 9. So I got home by 8:30 and had time to Skype the FWiB for a second time.

So the only other news is that today was the day that Laurie had her double mastectomy. She came through it OK, nothing untoward.

Oh, anyone who's interested. I think I said here about being one of the people interviewed for the meandtheeandthree.com podcast about SHarecon. The episode with the interviews has just been posted. If you want to hear it, it's at meandtheeand three.com, episode 19. I haven't listened to it yet myself so I don't know where in the podcast my interview falls, but I should be there somewhere. I'm interviewed under the name silver chipmunk.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. The Kid.

3. My meetings and the people there.

4. Laurie is OK.

5. Not to cold out.

6. My cold is much better.
