Yet another quiet day
Jan. 10th, 2019 10:31 pmWork was fairly normal, but I heard something of interest through the grapevine. As of February we're going to be closing at 6 instead of 7. Which will mean no more 11-7 days, just 10-6 and 9-5. I won't miss staying late (though I worry about the patrons) but I will miss being able to sleep a little later some days. Frankly I don't understand why the Powers That Be would make that decision. I'm not entirely sure weather to believe it or not but, well, we'll see.
Aside from that, went through Flushing on the way home to refill my metrocard, and buy milk and orange juice. It's cold out! But my coat kept me warm.
Skyped the FWiB when I got home. Not much going on with him.
Last night Sybil seemed much better, so unless she seems bad again tonight I'm not taking her to the vet tomorrow.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Warm coat.
3. Donation of chocolate today.
4. Possible new hours.
5. Good books.
6. Warm apartment.
