Shocked and saddened

While coming home from the city after a really nice day I'll talk about later, I got some sad and shocking news posted on a facebook group. Remember back in the fall I made contact with an old college friend, Barbara? We e-mailed for awhile, then I stopped hearing from her. I didn't push it, was planning on getting in touch again soon. Well she died a few weeks ago of liver failure. I don't know what to say. I'm really saddened. And shocked, I had no idea she was sick at all, let alone so sick.

I did have a good time in the city seeing a play with mashfanficchick, her friend MJ, and MJ's friend Olga. MJ was the producer of the play so we all went to the after show party, which was held in a rooftop bar (glassed in) in Chelsea. Then after the party we went to a restaurant for dinner and had a really good time.

Then when I was on the 7 train coming home, I was reading facebook, and it was posted.

The play was about Dorothy Kilgallen, and her mysterious death after investigating the assassination of JFK.

I Skyped the FWiB before I went out to Manhattan. Also ate breakfast at the bagel shop.
