Still no word about City Island

silver_chipmunkI gathered up courage and asked my boss if we knew who was being sent yet and he said he hadn't heard from his boss (who's making the decision) yet. But he will ask tomorrow.
Aside from that, nothing much of note. I did the laptop program and got 13 kids, which is great.
After work I went through Flushing and to my meeting, which was good. It was raining nastily but I had my umbrella.
Last night Oreo went for Sybil while she was up with me. I shut him out of the bedroom for the night. I'll try letting him in tonight again and see how it goes.
The phones are still not working at the FWiB's nursing home, but we e-mailed as usual.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Rain didn't start til after I was at work.
3. Good number of kids for the program.
4. My meetings and the people there.
5. Made it to work on time today.
6. My cats, even though they annoy me.
