silver_chipmunkSo I reported today, made it on time, no problem. Got called to a courtroom for a case, still going through the voir dire. Once again I will most likely be rejected, because of the answer to the question "Have you or any of your loved ones been the victim of a crime?". Between the murders of Barbara and Carolyn, and the assault on Oldest Brother, I think the judge was even slightly taken aback.
I had lunch withmashfanficchick, which was very nice, and probably will again tomorrow. We ate at a Thai place. Pad Thai and spring rolls, yum! And Thai iced tea.
After they let us out just before 5:00, I called work and told them I had to report again tomorrow. Then I went back to Flushing and had a bubble tea, jasmin. First time I've had bubble tea in a long time.
Then I went to College Point and had a slice of pizza for dinner, and tried to Skype the FWiB from my phone. I was unsuccessful. It kept saying the connection was too weak. But we texted back and forth and that was nice.
Then my meeting, step and tradition 2. Very good.
And now I need to get to bed because I need to get up early to get in tomorrow. There was no hot water this morning so I couldn't take a shower, just wash off some vital bits. Hhohpe that isn't the case tomorrow.
