Happy St Patrick's Day

silver_chipmunkJust fitting it in beforethe day ends. Had a good one. Got up early for me and Skyped the FWiB after breakfast and coffee.
After that I read the stuff on line I do every day, and did a quick wipe down of the bathtub after last night's filter cleaning. Waited for Oldest Brother to get here and wrote a very little in the Starsky and Hutch story I was working on before the Kolchak essay got started.
Also I called the Kid to wish her a happy St. Patrick's Day. She asked us to check on her car which is parked behindmashfanficchick's mother's house.
Oldest Brother came over and the two of us changed the water in the turtle tank. The turtle is acting much better today, so I don't know if she really needs to go to the vet, but I'm taking her tomorrow anyway.
After we changed the water I took a shower and he took a nap on the couch. I got dressed and puttered aruond a little til 2:30 when we went over tomashfanficchick's place, stopping first to check on the Kid's car, which was fine.
We had a good time there, cheese and homemade bread, and dinner which was Guinness Beef with Gravy, and mashed potatoes. It was very good. Then Oldest Brother had to leave, but I stayed and we watched the movie Working Girl, which is from the 80s. A cute little period piece.
And then they brought me home, and that's the day.
