Called out sick a second day

Though really I could have gone in. But it was nice having the time.

I had no milk and no cereal in the house so I went to the bagel place for breakfast. Got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll, very good.

Came home, puttered on the computer, and then went and finished the P C Hodgell book. Very enthralling for those of us following the series, but it would be totally unintelligible to someone not familiar with it.

I also lost an auction, on a silver and amethyst bracelet. Bummer. And the present I got for mashfanficchick has not shipped yet. I texted the Kid to ask her if that was normal, but apparently it can be. So that's OK.

After that I Skyped the FWiB, who had had chemo today. He is doing well.

Then got in touch with mashfanficchick about going out to Carvel tonight. After that I took a shower and changed, and they picked me up. They had MJ with them, so that was nice.

We had Carvel, and then went to Friday's for dinner.

And that's the day. I must go back to work tomorrow though!
