Summer reading program kickoff

silver_chipmunkWas today. An animal show. It was very successful number-wise, less so in satisfaction. The kids were rowdy, I had to toss one group out, with the help of the program presenters. *sigh*
That was after I was 40 minutes late because I got a phone call from the Kid I had to take which held me up log enough to miss a couple of buses. Then I spent most of the morning either doing the reserves or filling the bags with the info and goodies for the summer reading program. *sigh*
Skyped the FWiB after work, that was nice. There is some good news there, he may possibly be into independent living by the end of July. Keep your fingers crossed and pray this works out.
No Carvel unfortunately.mashfanficchick's mother is in New Jersey unexpectedly.
Had a mug cake with dinner, then made a drink with the last of the fruit punch, some orange juice, and the spiced rum. Feel better now.
