Back to work, got there extra early, went to the deli for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was good, though not the best I've had.
Work was OK, nothing special. I weeded another shelf of graphic novels and manga.
After work I went to the bank, and to Rite Aid for a card for John's birthday. Then I went as usual to dinner at Boston Market.
Skyped the FWiB afterward while I was waiting for my meeting to start. His coughing really started up badly. I can't wait for him to get to the pulmonologist again.
My meeting was good. The topics were acceptance and powerlessness.
Last night I started reading The October Man. It's Ben Aaronovitch, set in the same world as the Rivers of London books, but in Germany. I'm enjoying it, though I keep thinking of the ghosts of WW2.
Happy Summer Solstice! (Or winter, if you're Down Under.)
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My meetings and the people there.
3. The day turned absolutely gorgeous after a grey rainy morning.
4. Good books.
5. Umbrella in the morning.
6. Family tomorrow.
