Carvel Night

silver_chipmunkGot to work a bit late today. Need to watch that, as we are getting a new boss as of Monday. The email announcing it came out Monday, when I wasn't there, and somehow I missed it yesterday, but I saw it today. It's not anyone I know, though I've heard of her by name.
Anyway, after work I Skyped the FWiB from home. We only could talk a little while though becausemashfanficchick and her mother picked me up. We went out for Carvel and dinner out on Long Island at Ruby Tuesday.
Today would have been my 35 anniversary if the ex husband hadn't left. I'm only a little disturbed by it, I have come to realize I'm much better off without him. Still, we were together 25 years, that's a long time.
Anyway, tomorrow is the 4th of July, sadly I have no plans. Oh well.
