Should have been a good day

silver_chipmunkBut wasn't. I made it to work on time, the day was quiet. I got e-mail from bit Aunt Helen and Betsy about the cottage, they have made arrangements for getting the porch fixed and some other things, and not removing the fireplace. I forwarded Betsy's e-mail to the Kid, and we had a long, long dispiriting discussion about what she thinks should be done about the cottage. I am... depressed.
Skyped the FWiB after work but not for long because my phone battery was very low due to all the texting.
Went to my meeting, it was OK.
The Kid had said she was going to call tonight around 10 but didn't.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid.
3. I have a cottage, or half of one actually.
4. My meetings and the people there.
5. Air conditioning.
6. Plans for the weekend.
