Financial Stuff

silver_chipmunkGot up at a reasonable hour, made coffee, and was checking the computer when the phone rang. It was the Kid. She has decided to help me out figuring my finances. So we went over a lot of stuff, she created a spread sheet and sent it to me. So I now I know I need to cut back my spending each month. I will do my best. That took us several hours I think, on speaker phone. We also spoke about the cottage, and some family matters.
That was the main think of the day, truthfully. Aside from that I alternated reading in bed with puttering on the computer. The only time I left the apartment was to check the mail.
I have been reading The Aereonaut's Windlass, I'm still under-enthused by it, but it isn't actually bad, just not as good as I hoped.
The FWib and I e-mailed during the day, and he called me in the evening. We spoke for only about half an hour but it was nice. He seems to be settling in nicely.
