The class that I had scheduled to come in this morning never showed up and I don't know why. So that was a downer. And after I got out this morning extra early, to be ready, too. Bummer. But my special program in the afternoon, The Art of the MC, went pretty well, though it started late. I only had four kids, but they were interested and involved, so that was good.
After work I texted
mashfanficchick about going out for Carvel, but she was going to a lecture, so we couldn't. So I Skyped the FWiB and we had a nice conversation on the way home, and here.
Then, after dinner, I did it! I booked the hotel and plane flight for going to see the FWiB in July! The hotel is nice and cheap, and the flight was... well, not awful. I have to get a hotel rather than stay with David M because he doesn't have a place to live there any more.
So I am all set. Nervous as heck spending that much money, but it should be worth it.
Also sent an e-mail to Cousin Steve about Thanksgiving, as I got permission to leave early the day after Thanksgiving and now I need to know the train station I'll be going to, like I did last year.
So everything seems to be working out so far.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My program worked out.
3. Trip set up.
4. I can afford stuff like this.
5. Expedia.com.
6. Family.
