Dinner with the Kid

silver_chipmunkHad a class visit today that went quite well. Then I had my one on one with my boss, nothing much to report except that I'm now supposed to spend from 3 to 4 Thursday and Friday getting to know the teens better. Yay?
Did the gaming program and that went interestingly. A few kids used the time to choreograph and perform a rather funny dance.
Anyway, after work I Skyped the FWiB on my way to the Kid's place in Astoria. We hung in her apartment for awhile and she told me what was going on. Then we ate at an upscale Italian place, we both had porcini pasta. She's holding together.
Then I came home and now I have to get to bed.

4. Mushrooms.
5. One on one wasn't too bad.
6. Bed soon.
