Hectic Saturday

silver_chipmunkWork was busier than usual, partly kids with science projects and partly just traffic. I also had a huge reserve list to deal with. Also I did the walk around computer tutor. Our copy machine decided to have a hissy fit too, but then it started working again.
Also the Kid called me to talk her through getting up and getting ready to go to Arisia. I'm glad she's going, hopefully it'll give her a chance to get away from the situation for a few days. She just called me a bit ago to say she'd reached Boston OK, though the trip was hairy.
Anyway, it started snowing around 1, and was still snowing when I headed for home. I think it has now turned to rain though. I Skyped the FWiB and we talked for a nice long time.
Tomorrowmashfanficchick and I are heading to brunch with the Torchwood group, which I am looking forward to greatly.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid reached Boston safely.
3. The rain and snow should be over by tomorrow.
4. Although it was busier than usual, no one was unpleasant.
5. Peanut butter.
6. Bed soon.
