Fun and productive day

silver_chipmunkDidn't sleep as late as I really should have considering how late I was up last night, but I feel OK.
Got up, had a conversation with the Kid by text, then ate breakfast and had coffee. Then I Skyped the FWiB for awhile, but not long because he had to go to lunch. Then I texted [Unknown site tag] to find out if we were going out shoe shopping today. She said we were so I called the Kid, got her voicemail, and told her if she wanted to come to let me know by 1:30. Then I went to take a shower and wash my hair and get dressed.
At about 1:25 the Kid called and said she did want to come too. So after they picked me up, we picked her up, gave her valentines, including the $1 squishy shark I got her, and all went to Roosevelt Field where we ate a late lunch in the food court at the Melt Shop. Then we shopped for shoes formashfanficchick and for me and for dresses for the Kid. All successful.
Then we went to a Starbucks near the mall, and then we went to Old Navy, wheremashfaanfic got a pair of jeans. And then we had dinner at a salad bowl place called Chopt.
Then we took the Kid home, and she gave me the amethyst crystals she had for me as a present, and then they brought me home.
And it has been a fun day.
