Cancelled my program

silver_chipmunkWas a little late to work today,not bad. I ended up cancelling my laptop program, because the children's person cancelled her program before me. It's the annoyance value that we would have to wipe the keyboards off with Clorox wipes because of Covid-19. Next week though I'll be more prepared.
After work I Skyped the FWiB as I went through Flushing to my meeting. Got lamb over rice from the halal cart for dinner. My meeting was small, and we got some sad news. One person who had been coming to the meeting for a long time but very irregularly, died some time ago. We hadn't seen him for quite some time, but that wasn't unusual. Was a shock to hear.
Came home and found the High Kigs dvd which I had ordered and then realized couldn't be played because it's region 2 had arrived. *sigh*
Texted the Kid today. She was at a primary watch party tonight, she's going to b pretty sad about Sanders losing Michigan.
Our plans for Saturday have been upended by the virus scare. A student in one of the schools John cleans has come down with it. So they cancelled out on seeing us.
And just as a historical note, the governor today declared a one mile radius circle in New Rochelle as a containment area, and deployed the National Guard.
