I'm counting my days off starting from tomorrow since I would have bn off yesterday and today anyway, and this was pretty much a normal Sunday. Except I didn't sleep really late. I was woken up by a phone call from M who had gotten an e-mail from the minister of the church where the tuesday meeting is, wanting to know if we were going to continue to hold meetings. I said I thought we should, we'll see what happens.
So being up I stayed up and had breakfast and coffee. Then Skyped the FWiB. we talked for a good long time, then he had to get off because his wife was calling him. So I puttered on line until he got back to me, and we talked for another good long time. So I had a really nice conversation with him today.
I read another book by Phyllis Ann Karr, The Gallows in the Greenwood, which was interesting, didn't catch me like the Frostflower books though. I also downloaded another book by T Kingfisher, I forget the title.
I did do an actual needful thing today, I changed the turtle's water, and cleaned the filter.
Then I spent the rest of the day reading or on-line. I have gotten about halfway through Minor Mage, the first T Kingfisher I downloaded. It's cute.
I texted with
mashfanficchick, she is not having visitors during her time of self-quarantine but she's going to try and organize a day or night of on-line gaming. That would be fun.
The Brooklyn and Queens libraries have followed our lead, and closed. Schools are closed. There is talk of closing restaurants and bars. This is getting scary.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Happy turtle.
3. Entertaining books.
4. Nutella.
5. I got my new Nook when I did.
6. On-line distractions.
