Day 6: out with Oldest Brother

silver_chipmunkI overslept, meant to get up at 9:00 but didn't until past 11:00. And I had a bad dream between the time I turned off the alarm and the time i actually got up. The first dream I've had relating to work being closed. But anyway, it was OK because Oldest Brother wasn't supposed to get her til 1:00 anyway.
So I got up and breakfasted and showered. Oldest Brother got here at 12:42 if I remember correctly. He said the roads were practically empty.
So we went to College Point and got sandwiches from Supremes. The streets were less empty than I expected. We went to the big park, and walked to the playground and ate there. There were more people than I expected, but not a lot for a nice spring day.
After we ate, we sat for awhile, and walked, and then made our way back to the car, and he took me shopping. I went to BJ's, and got cereal, coffee, orange juice, milk, and clementines. It was really crowded there. Then we went to Target, where I got butter, Lean Cuisine, hand soap, and cat food. It was less crowded but still pretty busy. So I am provisioned for awhile.
Then we came back here and puttered on the computer for a bit. The kid called, and gave me hell about going out and being with Oldest Brother. I know why she's upset, she's afraid of losing anyone else, after her father deserted her and the SIL left her. So I agreed to stay in. Anyway, then Oldest Brother took a nap and I Skyped the FWiB from my phone in the bedroom. And then we ordered Chinese food.
After dinner, he left, and I went to read, after paying my rent online. The Kid called back and we had a nicer conversation.
I texted J to say I couldn't make it tomorrow. I really want to, but equally I agree with the Kid that it would not be a good idea.
Anyway, that's how things are.
