Day 16: Not so much reading

silver_chipmunkStarted out the day sleeping fairly late. Then got up and coffeed and breakfasted and did a brief training for work. So I got that out of the way early.
Skyped the FWiB for a nice long time. Then spent a very long time on line deciding what I would download for my next book to read. Finally decoded on, rather than another fantasy, a Robert Crais Elvis Cole novel Thw Wanted. But I didn't get a chance to read it because the Kid called me, and we spent a very long time talking while she did housework in her apartment.
At one point during a break in the conversation, while she took a break, I finally put all my refrigerator magnets back on the refrigerator, after having had them taken off and put in a bag by one of the cleaners at one point. Also today I got all the junk mail in the bag of junk mail I have. I meant to start shredding it, but never got around to it. Maybe tomorrow.
Anyway, after that I went into the bedroom to read, but before I started the Kid called back and we talked for another long time.
Then I came out into the living room to watch the Thurber reading, but just as it started the phone rang. It was S from my Tuesday night group so of course I stopped to talk to him. And that was very nice.
I watched the Thurber after we finished talking, and then replayed it to get the bits I had missed. They were stories I knew anyway, The Luck of Jad Peters, and The Car We Had To Push.
Then I had dinner, and finally after that went to the bedroom to read. So I only got a little bit in before it was time to feed the cats and turtle.
But it was a good day none-the-less.

5. Got my magnets back up.
6. Nice cozy apartment to shelter in.
