Day 37: Contacted schools

silver_chipmunkToday I did what I would call real work, I looked up the contact info for the principals of the five schools in my branch area, wrote an e-mail, and sent it too them all. I'm impressed that i got an answer from one. It was , however, negative. They are not interested in having me try any kind of virtual class visits. That leaves four schools. We shall see.
I forgot to post last night that I managed to secure a Shipt spot for today. So I got my delivery. But I only realized several hours later that I didn't get my boxes of macaroni and cheese. I hope I didn't get charged for them, but it's probably too late to do anything about it if i did.
Aside from that, I Skyped the FWiB for a very long time today. And I spoke to the Kid. And Oldest Brother, who continues to improve. Also I got texts frommashfanficchick
And I emptied out Sybil's litter pan and bagged the contents. Tomorrow I shall take them, and the pan, out to the garbage. Shall do more cleaning tomorrow.
No Thurber reading tonight because of the high pollen count. Tomorrow here should be.
Last night I finished The City We Became, and so I downloaded Jemisin's first book, The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. I started it and I am enjoying is so far. It's the first in a trilogy.
I can't get into livejournal on my computer. I thought it was down, but I can get n on my phone so I don't know what's going on or if this will crosspost successfully or not. I'll post it by hand later, if it doesn't.
