Day 66: Cleaned the turtle tank filter

silver_chipmunkSo I got up and breakfasted and coffeed. Then I set about looking for something to do for work. Came up with an ALA thing,first of monthly conversations, recorded from last month. The one for this month is tomorrow, so I registered for that too. Anyway, that was kind of interesting.
After that I Skyped the FWiB, and that was fun as always.
I textedmashfanficchick just to touch base and we had a little conversation. And the Kid called to show off a new vintage dress dress she just bought.
The turtle did something to the filter, knocked it askew and even after I put it back in place it was making a wretched racket so I bit the bullet and cleaned it. Didn't change the water, maybe I'll do that this weekend. When I put it back it was making only its normal hum, so that's good.
I read more of Stormcaster, and I'm glad I continued with the series.
No Thurber reading tonight because Olbermann is taking Wednesdays off. So I had dinner at 8. Mac and cheese.
Oldest Brother called and we talked. We're going to risk a physical visit on Monday, he has the day off. I think it should be safe enough, he's had the virus but should be long past being contagious, and he should be, at least temporarily immune, plus I haven't been anywhere to pick it up to pass on anyway.

Edited to add: Forgot to say, M called me, from my Tuesday night meeting. II'm going to set up a Zoom meeting for next Tuesday, see if we can get the meeting going.
