Day 79: Nervous day
Jun. 2nd, 2020 10:33 pmGot up at 9:00 for a training at 10:00. That was pretty interesting.
Then I puttered around on-line, and I texted
mashfanficchick to find out how she was. She's doing OK, feeling better. And I texted the Kid, thinking she'd left already, but she was running late.
Then I Skyped the FWiB, which is always nice. It was caption competition day today!
I finished fixing the dragon incense burner as best I could, from a distance it looks pretty good! I'm pleased. Oh, and a pair of the sandals I ordered came. They are not as good as I had hoped, but they do fit very well and are comfortable.
I went and read until a bit before 7:00. Then I had dinner, and got ready for my Zoom meeting. The meeting worked out quite well, we had people coming in from other meetings, so we had about 10 people all-in-all, which is really nice.
I was in touch with the Kid off and on all day. She called me at a bit past 9:30, just getting home safely. She's going to do it again Thursday, so I have a worry free day tomorrow and then worrying again the next day.
Talked to Oldest Brother, he's doing OK.
Things are tense in the city, the curfew has been changed to 8:00 to 5:00 which is... disturbing.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid is safe.
3. My meetings and the people there.
4. Zoom.
5. On vacation.
6. Good books.
