Day 80: One-on-one with the boss

silver_chipmunkWhich turned out fine, nothing much to worry about. She had said on Monday we'd be having one-on-ones this week because there won't be time for any personal stuff at our meting this Friday (because that's going to be a joint meeting with another branch). So this morning I got the "invitation" to the one-on-one at 3:05.
So I decided to clean up a bit, took a shower and put on real clothes and then had breakfast and coffee. And then killed the remaining time til the meeting. It was only 15 minutes, nothing I didn't know already.
After that I waited til the FWiB was free and then we Skyped. Had a nice time.
After that I did some rearranging of stuff to find a place for the dragon incense burner. It looks good there, on my bookcase. I need to move some stuff and get my ladder out, I have a high shelf with nothing on it that I need to get stuff on and off of my other shelves.
The Kid called to show me pictures of some stuff she ordered.
Went and read more of Spinning Silver. It's really good.

Talked to Oldest Brother, nothing new.
And apparently there were protesters in my old home town today, and counter demonstrators too. Figures, always was a sort of conservative, right wing town, we never did fit in.

6. The Kid wasn't out in the storm tonight.
