Day 99: Went really quickly
Jun. 22nd, 2020 10:30 pmConsidering I had to be up at 10 for the meeting at 11 today, the day went fast. I managed dressing, breakfast and coffee before the meeting. I didn't really learn much that I didn't already know or could guess, and it was only an hour, not an hour and a half, but I guess it was useful. After the meeting I took two brief trainings that filled up a half hour.
I checked the mail after that and got a statement from MCU showing a credit of $313 on my crdit card, which means that I got the refund for my cancelled Ohio trip. So that's good.
Then I puttered around until 3:00 when I did the Youth Tech demonstration, which was pretty interesting, and I enjoyed. I called the Kid afterward and we talked for awhile. She's doing well.
Then I Skyped the FWiB, and we talked for about an hour as usual. And nice as always. Afterward I puttered for awhile with the website that the demo was on, and that was interesting. I'll work more on it on Wednesday.
I was going to watch the Thurber reading but it was cancelled tonight. But he had yesterday's posted, which I had missed of course since Oldest Brother and I were busy with phone calls at that time. So I watched that.
Then I made dinner, pasta and sauce, and then went and lay down in the bedroom in the AC til Oldest Brother called.
That's all, a full enough day that seems to have gone very quickly.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Fun projects.
3. Had a banana with peanut butter for lunch and it was very good.
4. Air conditioning and fans.
5. Good dinner.
6. The Kid is well.
