Working from home

silver_chipmunkThis was the first day I had to actually work all day from home instead of just the sporadic "stuff for work" I was doing before. I managed all right. It didn't hurt that I had two hour long webinars today.
The Kid called during my lunch and again during my break. She's having a bad patch at the moment.
After work I was going to Skype the FWiB (It's his birthday today btw) but he was talking to his friend Mike so I had to wait til 6:00 when he was ready. Then we Skyped for an hour.
mashfanficchick called and asked if I wanted the rice pudding brought over, and I said yes. Ze and zir mother got here faster than I expected and I was still talking to the FWiB so they went and got food, and while they were doing that, they got me food too. A Popeye's chicken sandwich and red beans and rice.
They got here just in time for me to pick up the food and the rice pudding from the car, and get back inside and start my meeting. Which was not a great success today and the less said the better.
After the meeting the Kid called again, and we ended up Zooming on my phone so she could share her screen with me and show me stuff. We talked til Oldest Brother called and a little after.
I fed the cat and turtle and called Oldest Brother back and we talked.
One thing I did today, I got some clarification from Susan about what's going on with the Outing Park septic system, and I e-mailed Aunt Helen about paying the money for it. She wants to wait though.
Just te a bowl of rice pudding. It is soooo good.
Yesterday the crossposting worked! Lets see if it does today.
