silver_chipmunkThis is of course the day we get off for the 4th of July since the 4th is a Saturday this year. It also would have been my 36th anniversary if my ex hadn't split. But I am, now, finally, happier without him so that's OK.
I slept til about 10:30 then got up and breakfasted. Discovered that I was out of sugar, so I put maple syrup in my coffee. Tasty.
Puttered on line, and Skyped the FWiB. After that I turned on the TV to make sure it was working so that Oldest Brother and I can watch the fireworks tomorrow. Everything works. I was afraid that I might have knocked some connections loose when I put the Christmas tree away this year.
I put in a Shipt order, sugar of course, and cat food and some other stuff, not to much, but enough to get free shipping. Then I did the dishes and tidied the kitchen a little.
I went and read while they were drying. The Kid called, she was somewhat sad, and I invited her to come with Oldest Brother and me tomorrow. She said she might, but I doubt she will. But it's a hope.
At 7:00 I had my Al-anon meeting, and we only had one meeting so at 8:00 I watched the Thurber reading.
Then I ate dinner and went to read until Oldest Brother called. We made plans for tomorrow, and then I fed the cat and the turtle, and that was my day.
As of yesterday crossposting was not working. We'll see about today.

5. My copy of the Fairy Caravan that I ordered arrived today.
