Back to work again

It was just as cold and boring as the first Monday I worked back at the branch.
I called my tax preparer, they are letting me fax my info to them on Wednesday. Don't know how I'll pay. Mail a check maybe.
I got e-mail from Betsy about paying the cottage special assessment, sort of bossy and snippy, but that's Betsy.
I got a call from the Kid, and we talked during my lunch. Just a nice chat.
There was a massive thunderstorm when I left work, thankfully I had thought to bring an umbrella so I wasn't too badly drenched. By the time I got home, it had slackened a great deal.
I got my lease renewal. For two years my rent is going up by $39 a month. Not to bad.
I Skyped the FWiB, and then had dinner. The Thurber reading was cancelled again.
Went and read the end of the InCryptid book I was reading, and downloaded and started the new one. And today I got a message from Fantasticfiction that the next one is announced and available for preorder, coming out in February.
Oldest Brother called and we talked. While we were talking I ordered a nw turtle dock for the turtle, who has trashed the one she had. Just as I was saying good-bye, the Kid called again. I'm going to call her back after I get done here.
