Happy Bastille day

I hit the snooze button to many times this morning but made it to work on time anyway. Watched the Best books of 2020 (so far): Picture Book edition this morning, which was very interesting. Then I tried to watch an ALA webinar, but it was on Zoom, and apparently I can't use Zoom on the computers at work. They posted the recording of it after, so I watched that in the afternoon. But it was kind of boring anyway.
The Kid called during the day, she was having a bad day. I tried to cheer her up a little.
We were all assigned to shelf read sections of the Early Books section. That was fairly boring, but didn't take too long.
After work I came home and Skyped the FWiB. He's doinf well, but had some disagreements with his brother today. His brother is fairly conservative. The FWiB usually does not talk religion or politics with his family. Today was an exception.
After our Skype there was just enough time for me to get dinner... Oh, it's National Mac and Cheese Day, according to Noodles and Company, so I had Lean Cuisine Vermont White Cheddar Mac and Cheese for dinner.
Then it was time for my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. It went well.
Then I finished reading one of the InCryptid short stories, and went and lay in my room in the AC til Oldest Brother called. He had news about Aunt Helen, she's still in the hospital, but doing well. They seem to feel she'll be home in a day or two.
After that I called the Kid to give her the news about Aunt Helen and we talked awhile. She was still feeling sad, again, I tried to cheer her up.
It is also, by the way, International Non-binary Persons Day.mashfanficchick posted about it.
So that's about the day. Oh, Ruth Bader Ginsberg is in the hospital with a serious infection. Say a prayer for her health!
