Another boring day

Worked from home. Did some stuff, including finishing reading the summer reading book I was working on, The Story of Owen, which I am happy to say did not end in the terrible tragedy that I suspected. I downloaded yet another app, CloudLibrary, which gave me some trouble because for the longest time it wouldn't accept my library card number. But eventually it did, though not before I had given up and downloaded a book to the Libby app. Then it worked, so I have two books downloaded, one to each app. Should keep me busy for awhile.

Aside from that, nothing much to say. Didn't hear anything from the Kid, though I may call her after I get done with this.

After work I Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice time. Then I had dinner, and read some more of the InCryptid short stories. I got on Twitter, but there was no Thurber reading, I don't know why.

I called Middle Brother, he is doing fine.

I dug up my copy of the Dresden File book before Skin Game, Cold Days, and started reading that.

Then I called Oldest Brother and we talked. He might come over Sunday.

I also dug out my beautiful wood and leather stationary box, with the embossed unicorn on it, and the embossed unicorn stationary. I don't know what I'll so with it, but I have it out on display. The Kid talking about her fancy stationary made me think of it.

And some Trumpista twit on facebook was making herself known on one of the communities I belong to, and i replied in kind. Not nasty but cool.

My turtle is splashing around in her tank. This makes me happy.
