Day spent with computer files

silver_chipmunkI got up a bit late and had breakfast and coffee, then Skyped the FWiB.
Then I spent the next I don't know how many hours working with the files from the CDs of saved pictures I downloaded. One CD has about 1700 or so files, the other has 900 or so files. I've dealt with 600 of the files from the first CD, either deleted, renamed, or put in a folder. Seeing a lot of old stuff. These are from 2001 at the earliest (when we got our first computer) to 2006, when the computer was reformated and I had to restore them. So it's odd seeing people who are dead now, and long gone pets, and stuff. More pictures of the FWiB then you would think, long, long before he was the FWiB, but just a friend.
Anyway, at a bit after 6:00 I had dinner and had just finished when the Kid called. So I talked to her for awhile, and then it was time for my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. That went very well.
Afterward I did a few more pictures, to bring the total number of files to 600, and then went into the bedroom to await Oldest Brother calling.
The Kid called first, and I was talking to her when he called. So I finished up with the Kid and then fed the cat and turtle, and called him back.
It's a go for tomorrow having a socially distanced visit with Aunt Helen and company. I will take my camera and get some pictures.
O think I will have some ice cream after I finish this.
