Interesting, though quiet, day.

silver_chipmunkGot up reasonably on time, and had breakfast and coffee. I did my puttering on-line, and the Kid called. While we were talking the front door buzzed, and it was my hard drive being delivered! Wasn't supposed to come until tomorrow, so I was happy. I fiddled around with it while I talked to the Kid, and then she got off, and then I Skyped the FWiB.
While we were talking the doorbell rang, and it was the exterminator. I hadn't signed up for them, but I took advantage of his arrival and had him do the kitchen and bathroom.
After I got off from the FWiB, I continued working with the hard drive, and figured it out. So I saved everything on the old external drive, and some stuff from the computer. I don't have it plugged into the computer now, because there's no real reason to. I placed an order at Petco for more turtle cuttlebones. They should be delivered tomorrow.
I went into the bedroom and read and played solitaire, and then I came out here and went through one of the folders in the Restored Pictures file. I named every picture and discarded all the repetitions. That took me awhile.
At some point the Kid called again, and I talked to her up until it was time to start the Zoom meeting for my Al-anon meeting. The meeting went very well.
Afterward I had dinner, and went to the bedroom to wait for Oldest Brother to call. Before he did, the Kid called again, and we talked until he did. Then I told him I'd call back and went back to the Kid, and went and fed the cat and turtle while we talked.
After we finished, I called Oldest Brother back. Nothing new there.
I got the addresses for Mandy and Dori last night, texted frommashfanficchick, and I addressed my letters today too. Tomorrow I'll use the sealing wax, and stamp them. Not sure when I'll mail them.
And that's about all there is to say.
