Pretty tame day

silver_chipmunkMade it to work on time, and I worked. Nothing of interest happened. I weeded the graphic novels and manga. One thing worthy of note, the buses are back to having to pay fares. NO more free rides. I always carry my metrocard so I was covered.
Anyway, the Kid called me several times during the day, not happy, and I did my best to cheer her up.
Came home and Skyped the FWiB. He's doing oK except his cough is acting up. After we talked I had dinner, and ice cream for dessert, and then went into the bedroom and played solitaire until Oldest Brother called. He was later than usual, if I'd known he was going to be I would have read more of the Lord of the Rings instead.
Anyway, he called, and we talked while I fed the pets. And that's really all. After this I'll go and read.
