First day of vacation

silver_chipmunkI slept late again today, but I'm not going to tomorrow, I'm going to set an alarm and get up, take out my garbage and get breakfast. And see if the Dunkin' Donuts is open again yet.
Anyway though, today I didn't get out of bed until after 12, and i didn't really do anything all day. Puttered on the computer, and started reading The Two Towers, which has always been my favorite part of the Lord of the Rings.
Of course I Skyped the FWiB, we had a nice time, nothing is new with him. And i called the Kid to see how she was, she was in a good mood and spent most of the talk criticizing my posts on facebook, which she says are too moderate liberal. She herself is a socialist. She gave me two pages to like to get better memes from.
And that's really about all. Oldest Brother called, he is feeling better after his fall yesterday. I fed the cat and the turtle, and after she finished her turtle pellets, I gave the turtle some kale, which she's also just about finished.
I wrote out almost two pages of memories of 9/11, which someone on Ship-of-Fools asked me to do for her. I don't know why, but it's Rosseweisse, who I met once, and who's now dying of cancer, so if she wants it, she gets it.
