silver_chipmunkWorked from home, I came up with things to do. I emailed teachers and actually got responses. And a request for a class! Amazing.
Anyway, confirmed with the Kid about meeting her and the boyfriend on Saturday. So that'll be nice.
After work I had to wait to Skyype the FWiB, because as is his wont on Tuesdays he was talking to his friend Mike. We got on at around 6 or a little after and talked until I had to get off for a union meeting at 7.
The union meeting was pretty interesting. Nothing of particular note though. I had to leave that early to start my Al-anon meeting at 8. That went well.
Earlier in the day I had gotten a text frommashfanficchick that ze wanted to stop over and give me something, so we arranged ze and zer mother would stop over after 9, which I figured would give me time to put on real clothes after my meeting and grab something to eat. So thats what we did.
They came somewhat after 9, and we spent until 10 talking in the street. So that was nice. We're going to try and get together at the park like we did the other times on Sunday.
Called Oldest Brother... some tentative good news but I don't want to jinx it by saying anything. Watch this space.
Gratitude List:

2. My meetings and the people there.
3. Friends.
4. Interesting books.
5. The electronic lock on the front door to the building which wasn't working right on Sunday is working now.
6. Bananas. I got a bunch through Shipt yesterday.
