Good news for a change!

silver_chipmunkOldest Brother got a job with a new security company, an it's more hours than the one he had before too. I actually knew last night but it wasn't official until today, so I didn't say anything. But he starts either Friday night or Saturday morning. So that's a big relief.
Aside from that, the day was a day. Worked at the branch, we had a staff meeting virtually, which was... OK. Nothing special.
AAfter work I Skyped with the FWiB, which was nice. And then while I was waiting for Oldest Brother to call, the Kid called. So we talked. And then I fed the pets, and called Oldest Brother back.
The only other thing of note is that I got tired of waiting for Masquerade in Lodi (the new Bujold Penric and Desdemona novella) to show up on Barnes and Noble for my Nook that I downloaded it from Amazon to my laptop on the Kindle app. I'll download it again to my Nook when I can, just to have everything in one place, but at least now I can read it. It's only $3.99 so I can afford it twice.
