Tentatively hopeful

silver_chipmunkThat's the best I can manage on the election results so far. I can't help but worry that Trump will pull some scheme to hold on to power no matter what. But I hope that somehow everything will work out... somehow...
Anyway, to the more prosaic daily life, I ran out of breakfast cereal yesterday, so this morning I got upafter only a few pushes of the snooze alarm, and after I showered and dressed I went to the bagel shop and got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. I took it to work, still managing to get there early, and made my coffee and ate breakfast there.
The library was hot. After two days of cold time, it was awfully hot. 86 to 87 degrees F. Sweaty, sticky, can't breathe in a mask hot. I did two requests to have someone come and adjust the temperature and no one did.
But of course we got out at 4:00 after starting at 11:00, so there wasn't too much time to suffer. After work I came home and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice long talk, interrupted by the Kid calling. She was in a good mood, I'm happy to say.
After that I plugged y Nook into the compputer to charge and read for awhile, then had dinner. Then I read awhile longer fr it to charg, then unplugged it and went to the bedroom to read and wait for Oldest Brother to call.
Then after he did, I read some more, and fiddled on my phone til it was time to feed the pets.
After I finish here I'm going to read just a little while, then go to bed. Tomorrow I have to be up early to get to work in time for my virtual class visits.
And that's about all.
