Slept late, though not as late as some days.
Got up, had breakfast and coffee, and basically puttered on the compute until my 2:00 staff meeting. That was basically pointless. And only half an hour, not the hour that woould have let me g into work an hour late tomorrow, as it is, I can only go in a half hour late.
Anyway, after the meeting I Skyped the FWiB. we had a nice long talk, and then after I called the Kid.
She's doing fine, so I'm happy about that.
After that I went to the bedroom to putter on my phone for awhile, but eventually I got up and paid some bills and then took another of the Health Dept. surveys I signed up for. This one is also supposed to get me a $5 gift card, which will hopefully again be able to be converted to a Barnes and Noble card for my Nook. More excitingly, they were offering the opportunity to get a Covid anti-body test, for which I would get a $30 gift card. Oh yeah.
After that I sent out for dinner via Seamless, which I probably shouldn't have done since I did yesterday, and since today I got tortellini carbonara, which has got to be horribly caloric. But I did none-the-less.
That came just before my meeting was supposed to start, and I was almost done eating it by the time we started. It was small, an we cancelled the second meeting again.
After that I went and read until Oldest Brother called. He's doing OK. And after I read some more until I was time to feed the cat and turtle.
I haven't said anything about the election, I know. I am watching the AP site, and remain nervously and tentatively hopeful.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My meetings and the people at them.
3. Gift cards for surveys.
4. Good dinner.
5. The Kid is happy.
6. Can sleep a little late tomorrow.
